I greet you all from my beloved little cloud. In this invisible little bubble, I sit and enjoy the love of the whole world.
My name is Maria, people call me Diva, but my real name is Maria Callas or Maria Kalogeropoulou. I have known alienation, wars, hunger, abandonment, bullying, envy, exploitation… but also satisfaction, knowledge, global recognition, fame, and wealth.
This little cloud from where I look at you, is the same cloud that has followed me since I was born that Winter night, in 1923, in New York.

From that time I remember some incidents that really hurt me. My classmates made fun of me all the time for my fat legs and of humble origins. They were all so perfect and so rich. Never trust a person who put a label on someone. Always remember that you are absolutely unique and wonderful.

When I was a little child everything was against me, but I managed to overcome difficulties and “not make my problems a crown of glory”1. This is what I want you to keep in your mind my little friends.
I will always be here singing for you. Just believe in yourselves and remember: no storm lasts
